Standard Molabolts are produced to class 8.8 steel grade and coated with electro zinc with a clear passivation. In harsh environments, Molabolts can have a galvanised or Dorreltech finish or be manufactured in stainless steel.
The Steel Construction Institute has assessed the design resistances of the Molabolt Peg Anchors in carbon steel and stainless steel. The Molabolt has been subjected to a comprehensive test programme, and design resistances has been determined in compliance with Eurocodes.
